Chris Forsberg piloting his NOS/Maxxis 350Z came into Round 5 leading in points for both the Formula D series as well as the Tires.com Triple Crown bonus award. Forsberg ran through the whole event and left the same way he came in, as the points leader.

After a 350Z battle royale with Tyler McQuarrie, Forsberg came out victorious leaving McQuarrie to face his Falken teammate Vaughn Gittin Jr. for a third place podium. After the smoke the Falken 350Z ended up taking the win from the Falken Mustang.

Once third place was established, Forsberg went up against Eric O'Sullivan and his Hankook/Rockstar WRX. We don't get to see too many WRXs in the Formula D series, and it's even more rare to see them place. Unfortunately after the grueling runs against McQuarrie, O'Sullivan's car was no longer in commission and Forsberg was announced as the winner or Round 5.

The Seattle event ended with Forsberg winning and continuing his points lead in the series.
