The catalytic converter on the Civic EX really restricted the car's ability to expel gases--it really choked the motor. Since our Race Header eliminates the factory cat, it becomes a non-issue. We expected great results on the Si since it is similar to the RSX Race Header design, and we were not disappointed with the results. Of course, we tuned it specific to the engine offered in the Si. Road racers and spirited drivers will not be disappointed with the performance of these systems!"
